Aiora belongs to the Camins al Grau district, in the eastern half of the city between the old centre and the port. Avinguda del Port runs along its southern edge, Carrer dels Sants Just i Pastor along the northern one, and Carrer de la Serradora divides it from el Cabanyal towards the sea.

Albors lies to the west, Camí Fondo and la Creu del Grau to the south. From Carrer de Peris Brell it is about 1.25 km in a straight line to the City of Arts and Sciences, roughly two kilometres to the beach, and about 2.6 km to Plaça de l'Ajuntament. The barrio is almost entirely residential.

01

Near the science complex

If the City of Arts and Sciences is the reason you are coming, this is close without being on top of it. The complex lies about 1.25 km to the south west, and the Oceanogràfic sits just beyond it. The Marina and the port are east of the barrio.

02

Everyday Valencia

Aiora is almost entirely residential, so the bars, bakeries and supermarkets around Peris Brell serve people who live here rather than people passing through. That suits longer stays, families, and anyone who would rather come home to a normal street in the evening.

03

Between centre and sea

The barrio sits roughly halfway between the historic centre and the beach, and reaches both without much effort. You are not in the middle of the old town, which is the point: quieter nights, and the sea and the monuments each a short ride away.
